Hi ,
I am Luisa , I am a parent to 2 children with Autism . Over the last 9 years living with autism I have gained lots of personal experience , but I have also developed knowledge about what help is out there for us . I am passionate about supporting parents / carers on their journey !
I joined the parent carer forum to lead on the autism in schools project . The project is a pilot working in 3 Wigan schools to Improve knowledge and understanding of autism and how to support autistic students and their families . It will improve working relationships between families and schools by the creation of school based support groups .
